Safety and Construction

• Shell Material: It uses LS2's proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), a blend of polycarbonate, thermoplastics, and aramid fibers. This material is designed to be lightweight while providing excellent impact and energy absorption.

• Safety Certifications: The helmet meets or exceeds ECE 22.06 and DOT FMVSS 218 standards. The ECE 22.06 certification is a significant feature, as it includes a rotational energy management test (AREM) to provide better protection against certain types of head injuries.

• Internal Liner: The helmet features a multi-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) liner, which is critical for absorbing and dispersing impact energy.

• Closure: A quick-release micrometric buckle chin strap makes for a secure and easy-to-use closure.

• Reflective Patch: It includes a reflective safety patch for increased visibility in low-light conditions.

Visor and Ventilation

• Main Visor: The main face shield is made from "A-Class" polycarbonate, making it optically correct, scratch-resistant, and UV-resistant. It's also Pinlock-ready, which means you can install a Pinlock anti-fog insert (sold separately) for a fog-free view.

• Integrated Sun Visor: A key convenience feature is the built-in, drop-down sun visor (also known as a Twin Visor System), which can be quickly deployed to handle changing light conditions.

• Ventilation System: The Stream II has a dynamic, flow-through ventilation system. It includes a chin vent, a top vent, and rear exhaust ports to create a comfortable airflow.

• Breath Deflector: The helmet comes with a breath deflector to help prevent the main visor from fogging up.

Comfort and Fit

• Interior: The liner is made from a moisture-wicking, hypoallergenic technical fabric. It is also completely removable and washable.

• Fit: It's built for an intermediate oval head shape, which is a common fit.

• Laser-Cut Foam: The interior padding, including the cheek pads, is 3D laser-cut for a more precise and comfortable fit, helping to avoid pressure points or "hot spots."

• Shell Sizes: It is produced in three shell sizes to ensure a more compact and proportionate fit across the entire size range (XS to 3XL).

• Chin Curtain: A chin curtain is included to help reduce wind and noise coming from the bottom of the helmet.
